Orion Saiph

Seven Stages of Grief

Orion Saiph is a progressive metal band from Cantabria, Spain. This artwork belongs to its first album “Seven Stages of Grief” which can be listened at bandcamp.

The concept, as the title indicates, revolves around the grief and its stages. The illustration reflect all the feelings and thoughts that appear when you loose someone close to you.

The emptiness, the loneliness and the memories of what it was, seep through the pages and the meaning of lyrics.

The last themes, however, reveal the immensity of the universe and that Earth is just a little blue spot in the space and we, just one into the millions of human beings that live there.
